Location

Route 740, Parish of Saint Stephen/Charlotte, Hayman Hill, County of Charlotte, trapezoidal in shape, having a frontage of approximately 92 metres (302 feet) along Route 740 at the west and a depth of approximately 460 metres. The remainder of the property does not have road frontage, but rather abuts other privately held lands. The area is 4.24 hectares or 10.5 acres. There is hydro and telephone service, along Route 740.

Access

From Saint Stephen (about 124 kilometres west of Saint John via Route 1), take Route 740 northerly about 8 kilometres to the western limit of the property, which extends in a generally easterly direction.

Terrain & Vegetation

The property is entirely wooded and without any dwellings or other structures, and though there are no structures on the adjacent properties, there are houses about 300 metres south on Route 740. The land is generally flat, and wetlands occupy about 20% of the property in the middle. The land slopes upward toward the east in the back 15% or so. Most of the surrounding land is a mixture of woodlands and wetlands.

Crown Land

There is no adjacent Crown Land, but there is large Crown Land tract about 3 kilometres north on Route 740 straddling both sides of the highway consisting of about 20% wetland while the remainder is rolling woodland with numerous streams.

This is a rural seaside area with many outdoor recreational activities available - fishing, canoeing, kayaking, camping, and swimming, to name just a few.
